Movember wraps up, but changing the face of men’s health continues

Movember is a growing campaign designed to focus attention on Men’s Health and to raise money for awareness of prostate and testicular cancer.  This years event was a huge success:

Men across the world are still dealing with the separation anxiety after shaving their mustaches on Sunday.

Over $78 Million has been raised for the facial fur furniture bringing awareness to prostate and testicular cancer, and men’s health.

For the fourth year, Canada raised the most in the world – over $20 Million. There is an ongoing tally on the Movember website.

Kitchener/Waterloo Movember Committee Chair Kevin O’Reilly says you can still donate to help changing the face of men’s health.

“Right up until December 9th,” said O’Reilly. “They can go onto theMovember Canada website, and if they don’t their own mo-brother or mo-sista account, they can start one up or donate to a friends.”

Men’s health is moving more to the forefront as a result of these types of events, and raises awareness among men and women as to it’s import.  Keep up the good work!
